What Is Sublimation Printing?
Sublimation printing is a heat-transfer process where solid dye turns into gas and embeds itself into polyester-based fabrics. Instead of sitting on top of the material, the ink fuses with the fibers, creating a smooth, breathable finish.
This method is best suited for:
- Full-color, all-over designs
- Athletic and performance apparel
- Lightweight garments
- Complex patterns and gradients
Because the design becomes part of the fabric, sublimation prints do not crack, peel, or fade.
